3D printing

Over our term break, we were assigned to create an object on fusion 360 that could not be easily made subtractively. Below are screenshots of how I created my design on fusion 360.

I designed a book-like object that has hinges that enable the product to open and close like a book. It is considered not easily made subtractive as it consists of hinges. It was very difficult to make. It took me 2-3 hours to design the object and then I had to scale it down for it to be printed in under an hour which caused complications in my design.

Below are photos of my design

After printing out my design twice, I realised my mistake which was designing the hinges too close to each other. This then causes the pieces that were supposed to be separated to stick together. To fix this mistake I would need to adjust the size of the hinges on each part on fusion.
